The next holiday in Ecuador, will be May 1st, labor day (día del trabajo).
It’s a national holiday. No public and public institutions will work, but supermarkets, restaurants, as usual, will be working, after all. It will be a long weekend and for sure a lot of Ecuadorians will travel to the beaches, towns in the Ecuadorian Sierra and Amazonia.
If someone has to work on that day, the payment is doubled.
