Organic foods/vegetarian, vegan cafe/dry goods+
APU Culivare is a new store for 2021. It’s right along the Tomebamba. It’s on google maps. They have lots of organic products, sell dry spices and products by the lb. They have refillable biodegradable cleaning products and laundry soaps and the original bottle is included. They have something called chocolate honey and some very healthy oils for ingestion and external use. They sell some Cuenca made handicrafts as well. They have a cozy, outdoor garden café with very good vegan/ vegetarian burritos and hamburgers, among other things. On Saturdays from 7 AM- noon they have a little fruit and veggie stand with very good prices and will be expanding this and the store, as they grow and get bigger. Please support local, organic growers that sell through this new local. Walking distance from Gringolandia, and a big parking lot in front. It’s like a blue painted cement block wall out front and the local is a little bit set back in.
