Hello, I’m Erika and a volunteer for Fundacion Núr.
I first got involved with the organization through my work with Red Solidaria. When I began with the foundation I was involved with both the practical and psychological support of the organization, delivering materials and donations to families that needed them.
I have helped carry out field work in the community, visiting and getting to know the people we work with in their homes.
In addition, I have supported the families working with Fundacion Nur in person, as well as providing virtual sessions to the children and adolescents – accompanying through this time of confinement.
I am currently supporting families that participate in the programs provided by Fundacion Nur, providing psychological support in managing stress and the frustration of the current times.
The different commissions at Fundación Núr support each other and the best part of the job I do is working as a team and through this achieving the goals we have set together.
