Home of Hope – real solutions for real change

For the past 5 years, Hogar de Esperanza (Home of Hope) has connected Expats and those in need. We have offered a unique program providing emergency accommodation, health care, food supports, financial supports and much more. Many of you have supported our initiatives both financially and by volunteering. We have changed so many lives over these past five years.

As we enter our sixth year, we are starting one of our most exciting and life-changing programs. With our team of partners, The University of Cuenca, Universidad Catholica, Supermaxi, Institute of Azuay, our staff and more, we are providing one of the most comprehensive social programs available. With our psychologist as the lead, we will not only be training students on social issues, but we will also be offering an even broader scope of assistance that will include home visits, education sessions and training.

While Band-Aids are helpful in the short-term, we will be looking for solutions to the root causes of why people find themselves in desperate situation. If you wish to learn more about our programs, please contact us. Your financial support helps us continue these programs. You can make a donation though Giving Way at: https://www.givingway.com/donate/fundacion-hogar-de-esperanza or find other options at: https://hogaresperanza.org/en/donations/ Thank you for your support.
