This week is Pulled Pork at King Smokehouse. Delicious, tender, juicy pulled pork ready to heat and eat. With each pound of pulled pork receive a side of Sweet Sally Carolina Red Barbecue sauce free! So this week we feature Pulled Pork Empanadas (especially great recipe). Using prepared Empanada dough (at any mercado or store) (or Puff pastry rounds).
Place ¼ cup of pulled pork in the center of each round. If desired add 1 Tablespoon of Sweet Sally barbecue sauce on the pulled pork) Brush water around half of outer edge of each round. Fold round over filling and pinch edges to seal. Using a fork, crimp edges. Repeat process with remaining wrappers and filling. They are ready to bake or fry or freeze. Beat egg and 1 tablespoon water together in a bowl to form an egg wash. Brush each empanada with egg wash and spray with cooking spray and spray or grease the cooking basket or pan. Bake in the oven or air fryer at 400° F/ 200° C until golden brown. Turn ½ way thru cooking. Disfrute!
