We have created the Gentle Retreat for anyone who is interested in yoga, meditation and wellbeing from all ages and experience. Our Gentle Retreat offers accessible yoga classes, daily meditations, nature walks and healthy food. Five days to rediscover and reconnect with ourselves, find peace of mind and shine from the inside out.
The Yoga classes will be slow paced and gentle, breath centered, focused in developing the qualities of self-exploration and introspection. We will use this space to reconnect with the body, find movement through the breath and create a practice that suits your body needs. Morning class will be a little bit more dynamic while the evening class will be a soothing, restorative practice.
Morning Meditations will be guided mindfulness practice while in the evening meditations we will explore different techniques, from chanting, to active and dynamic meditations.
The body, the mind, the environment we live in are not separate. What happens in the body affects the mind, what happens in the mind affects the body, and life events affect our mind and bodies. How are we going to deal with this? How can I stay calm in the middle of a storm? How can I develop a strong immune system if I am in fear?
Yoga asana practice boosts the immune system, improves blood circulation, heart rate, digestion, sleep quality, makes us stronger and more flexible. A meditation practice, calms the mind, improves focus and concentration, we become lighter, we breathe the present, we learn to go through emotions without getting attached to them. Being surrounded by nature helps us to connect with our real self, to understand life cycles and rhythms, to slow down and enjoy the only moment that is real: The Present.
The day starts with a guided meditation in our amazing open Yoga Shala. Meditation will be followed by a gentle yoga class. After, we will enjoy abundant healthy breakfast and then we will take a walk in nature. After walk we will enjoy delicious veggie lunch and you will have some free time to enjoy the pool, read, rest or take a massage. At 5 PM second yoga class, meditation and sound healing will take place followed by dinner at 6:30 PM.
