While it is always great fun to get together with a small group of family or friends and set up a schedule for a tour, using my new tour bus; many times, people prefer to just rent a car because they do not need a guide or driver – they want to do it themselves. Good Friday, April 2, is a national holiday here and there are many activities that occur on this 3-day weekend. One suggestion would be to worship with local congregations around Cuenca or to celebrate the Resurrection on Easter Sunday with a village congregation and experience the joy. Or, do whatever strikes your fancy that weekend.
