Featured Recipe of the week from King Smokehouse

King Smokehouse is fully stocked and ready to help you with all your favorites during this lockdown period. Delivery is always free over $25 and now is the time to stock up your pantry. This week we are sharing a delicious, simple appetizer recipe. We hope you enjoy each of our kitchen tested recipes so here is this week’s:

Simple Sausage Stuffed ‘shrooms

Brown ½ pound of King Smokehouse sausage (Regular, Spicy, or Chicken) and drain excess fat. Put 8 ounces cream cheese into a bowl, add the sausage and 1 Tablespoon ground sage (or any savory spice you prefer). Get you hands in and mix it up. Remove stems from Baby Bella Mushrooms and stuff each mushroom with the cheese mixture – heaping it up in the middle. Place in a greased pan and bake at 350/180 for 20 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. (I use a mini muffin pan and grease with butter, gives a great taste to the mushrooms). Sprinkle with some fresh parsley and serve. Disfrute.
