In conjunction with the starting date, there will be promotional campaign which will run from June 21st to July 11th. Volunteers needed for a “Cutting Party” at the CSK

Volunteers are needed for a “Cutting Party” at the Cuenca Soup Kitchen: In April, 2022, the women and girls served by the Cuenca Soup Kitchen received reusable feminine hygiene kits made and donated by CSK volunteers. The program has been a huge success and we wish to provide kits to an additional 150 young women. As each kit includes 6 reusable sanitary pads, we will be cutting out 900 pieces for our volunteer sewing crew to complete.

This Wednesday, June 22nd, you are invited to join us for a “cutting session” at the Hearts of Gold. You can sign of to join us from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM or 1 – 4 PM. Please bring your own scissors.

Email us with the time you would like to join us and a confirmation reply will be sent along with the address to the Hearts of Gold office.
