DESCRIPTION:Please join us\, 2 great bands\, $15 fundraiser ​​​​​​​On April 18 at 3 PM\, we are raising funds for David Sloan’s legal defense fund. David has been a friend of the expat community for many years. He is partially paralyzed on one side of his body from a bike accident years ago. He was arrested for cultivating cannabis for his personal medical use. There will be two bands starting at 3 PM on April 18th at the Oveja Negra on Calle Larga y Hermano Miguel. Blues Enigma and Funky Tu Madre will each perform a set. you’ll have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win wonderful prizes donated by the Cuenca business community. Additionally\, there will be a silent auction with treasures donated by artists from Cuenca. All proceeds will go to David’s defense fund. Tickets are $15 with no reservations required. Sunrise Café will have tickets available until the morning of the show. If not sold out\, tickets can be purchased at the door. It’s time to help one of our own. Please support this endeavor.
