Hi all, from the Gobernación de la Provincia de Loja, the Governor of Loja province…
Because Loja city will be celebrating its 203 years of independence this coming November 18th, and because due to the “holidays and civic day law”, (yes, Ecuador has a Holidays law), if the Civic celebration is in a Saturday or Sunday… the free day will be moved to the previous Friday.
So, this coming Friday, the 17th, is a Loja province holiday, no public institutions or banks will work… and any private worker who will work that day, has the right to receive double salary for that day.
