On the west side of town, in San Joaquin, is a hidden gem. Alex’s Pizzeria y Restaurante. It’s a bit out of the way, toward the end of the Autopista de San Joaquin but well worth the effort. Alex and his crew deliver good food at low price.
The service and ambiance are outstanding. The wings were excellent. Pizza, burgers, Mozzarella sticks, calzones, chicken fingers…Yum.
Or try an entree of grilled chicken and fettuccine in a creamy white sauce. Lasagna, spaghetti, chicken parmesan. Served with excellent garlic knots.
The menu is extensive.
They even have a drive through! And delivery.
