Yesterday, Dr. Marcela Pesantez came to our home in Challuabamba. Unlike the traditional US doctor that spends less than 20 minutes with a patient, Dr. Pesantez spent hours with us learning about our medical histories and needs. She is very intelligent, professional and has a very pleasant manner. When she finished, she asked us if there was anything else we needed to discuss or have concerns about.
Her charge for this exceptional medical service was $20/each. It’s normally $10 but we live outside the city of Cuenca in Challuabamba.
