Our September art exhibition at idiomART is very exciting and features two incredible artists from Cuenca, María Ochoa and Iván Vélez. “Diverzxz” reveals the imaginary worlds of these two great artists.
María takes us on a whimsical journey into the magical world of Ecuadorian legend and lore with her handcrafted art dolls, Mampuchos. Each one is unique and shares his or her history and charm.
Iván takes us on a nostalgic stroll of enchanting colors and textures. He reminds us of how incredible Cuenca is with her textures, majestic trees, colorful flowers, nourishing gardens, and mountains on every horizon. His artwork explores these lively places and impregnates us with warmth and life.
The opening is September 13 at 7 PM.
