We have passed by this hotel hundreds of times, but never gave thought to the restaurant. However, when we had family here and we were looking for a dining option on a Sunday, someone suggested Zircus, the restaurant in the hotel. We were all pleased with the exceptional food and the service was top notch.
When it was time to plan our anniversary dinner, the actual day being a Sunday, we again thought of the hotel. We went to see the roof restaurant, but it is closed on Sundays, but with special service fee exceptions. There is a short flight of stairs once off the elevator, so we did not think some guests could manage well.
We opted for the glass dining room at the front of the restaurant for a more intimate setting. There were 15 of us with multiple different checks needed. Our server was so competent and professional we were all impressed. The food arrived in a timely manner without people having to wait for others to be served. Everyone was delighted with the food. Many repeated our earlier thoughts of having been by the hotel dozens of times, but never considering a “hotel restaurant” to dine in. This changed many minds.
A special call out to Aaron the reservation manager who provided the tour of the roof restaurant during a time when it was not open. He also dealt with dozens of my WhatsApp messages as our numbers changed. He did all of this with grace and professionalism.
