• 5th of September, 2023: De nos Frères Bléssés (faithful)

Sinospis: Algiers, 1956. Fernand Iveton is arrested in his factory, accused of having planted a bomb. His wife Hélène is now married to a “traitor”, but she refuses to abandon Fernand to his fate.

Sinopsis: Eloïse is sitting alone on a bench in Paris. She can’t remember who she is, where she comes from or how did she get here. So, she begins a funny investigation on her life. This amnesia might help her finding love and reinventing her life.

Sinopsis: France, sports teacher by day, worker by night and activist; Patrick, obscure and lonely Parisian lawyer specializing in environmental law; and Mathias, lobbyist and man in a hurry, will see their destinies turned upside down and intertwined by the terrible act of a desperate farmer.

Sinopsis: Born to a gangster Yugoslavian father and Ukrainian mother in Lubny, Ukraine, twin brothers Kolya and Vasily got into some good, old-fashioned trouble in their youth. But their respected and notoriously feared father was always there to bail the boys out. Now both are saddled with their own problems, common to those born into poverty and with little access to the outside world. When an urgent call from the Ukrainian consulate in Luxembourg reports that the father they haven’t seen in 20 years is dying, the twins must decide what to do.

• 23rd of September, 2023: CinéConcert : Trip to the country of fairies.
A show by the French duo Catherine Vincent that brings the magic of the cinema of pioneers Georges Méliès and Lotte Reiniger to the present. An event for children but also for parents who love music and cinema. The fantastic stories and primitive special effects of Méliès, and the delicate cut-out silhouette animation of Reiniger are brought to new life with her narration and voice, and modern rhythms and emotions are added to the sound of her acoustic and electric guitars, tambourine, Indian harmonium and vocals.
The films presented are: by the French Georges Méliès Cinderella (1899, 5’40) and The Fairy Kingdom (1903, 16’30) and by the German Lotte Reiniger, The Toad Prince (1954, 10′) and Thumbelina (1955, 10′).

Sinopsis: Etienne, an often out of work but endearing actor, runs a theater workshop in a prison, where he brings together an unlikely troupe of prisoners to stage Samuel Beckett’s famous play Waiting for Godot. When he is allowed to take the colorful band of convicts on a tour outside of prison, Etienne finally has the chance to thrive.

Sinopsis: Children are left at grandma’s house without their smartphones. Real life seems boring until they find instructions for Kratt – a magical creature who will do whatever its master says. All they need now is to buy a soul from the devil.
