FAAN (Fundacion Familia Amor) and a community member and friend to all animals needs your help.
We have two adorable, well-behaved adult girls, Sophie and Maisey who desperately need new foster and/or forever homes by Monday.
If you have room in your heart and your home to be a foster or adoption family and live within six hours of Cuenca, FAAN will bring the girls to you and provide full adoption support including a stipend for their health care.
Here’s the situation:
Both dogs, originally rescued from horrible conditions a few years ago, have lived a beautiful life in the countryside with their mama. You will have a sure thing. No puppy aggravation and lots of love from both, healthy girls (age approximately six) who are house trained and great companions. Sophie and Maisey are a bonded pair but we will consider independent adoptions.
The girls are used to living in the house and having access to a fenced in yard. They are friendly and get along with people and other pets. If you have a fenced in property, garden or farm, you could be the perfect match.
Ecuador Animal Lovers to the Rescue and Good Karma: Family circumstances and airline restrictions/costs make it impossible for the girls to fly back with their mom who is taking three of her smaller pets with her. You can probably imagine the angst of leaving your babies/family behind. At FAAN, we’re trying to help.
Because the girls are accustomed to their own family and home, the FAAN shelter would not be a good placement for the girls. They need and deserve a home to call their own.
If you can’t consider permanent adoption, please consider foster care until we can match our ladies with a forever home.
