We would like to recommend Emilio Morocho for all of your driving needs, whether it’s for a relaxing visit to the Cajas or for airport transportation to/from Guayaquil. He speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable about local attractions and history.
Emilio recently picked us up in Guayaquil. He let us know ahead of time that he would be waiting for us with a sign in the arrivals area. He has a great rig for your security and comfort. We had six large bags and they all fit neatly in the bed of his crew-cab pickup truck. The bed is covered by a heavy locked grate and a thick, fitted tarp so it is very secure.
Emilio is also well versed in local and Latin American history so we had a really informative discussion about pre-colonial tribes and culture. He also offered info about the many resorts and restaurants in the Cajas mountains.
We feel his charge for our trip was very reasonable.
