Unidad Educativa Agronomico Salesiano is a school in Paute which has 2 campuses, elementary school for children up to twelve years old is located in Paute while the college for students 12 years and older you will find in Uzhupud.
Recently the 2 teachers English from the campus in Paute have started a project in creating an English book club where the children who are interested will get the chance to read books in English and by doing so improve their English skills. For the college students in Uzhupud this project will be implemented next year.
The school is therefore looking for books in English so if there would be people here having books in English they don’t read anymore and would like to donate to the school, the school would be extremely grateful for your donations.
The type of books needed are mostly books with pictures or simple text no more than 30 pages long for the younger children and for the students they would need books for teenagers (12-18 years).
If anyone here would like to help, please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to come to Cuenca or any other location to pick up the books.
