We have been enjoying another wonderful trip to Cuenca to see our friend when Neil decided he ‘must’ have cuy. We tried to go to Tres Estrellas twice but they were closed. We went to a place called Casa Loma Restaurante instead.
You must make reservations. I made mine with FB messenger and it was super simple! He said the Cuy was excellent! I had the Tomahawk steak which was also very good. Super friendly and nice vibe to the place.
We were able to communicate just fine with Google translate. Our waiter said we were the first Americans he had served so if you’re looking for a place like this it’s pretty decent!
