Hi friends! If anyone is looking for help around the house (cleaning, light repairs, errands, etc.), we have got *the best* gal, and her other clients just returned to the States so she’s got 3 days a week open.
Her name is Rina. She studied education at college in Venezuela and has come to Ecuador with her two daughters, her mother, and her brothers. We’ve worked with her since last December, and she has been: 1. a super hard worker, 2. a joy to have around, and 3. a great errand-runner because she has great judgment (always seems to make the decision I would have made) and is fastidious about accounting. (We’ve never had to ask for receipts–as soon as she gets back she lays out the receipts and counts the change. She’s done that since day one.) When we went out of town for a month, she came to the house every take care of the pets and plants and we returned to a sparkling clean, happy household.
At the end of the work day, we let her use our computer for a couple hours to learn digital photo editing, and once our photographer friend in the States says she’s good enough, we’ll help her find clients. So, this is a smart, honest, hard-working young woman on a good trajectory.
