The Soul in Your Voice is an experimental laboratory of art and healing. It uses the voice, movement, the body, and the soul to seek out harmony between our thoughts, our feelings, and our decisions. The use of sound, silence, speaking, and singing will help us reconnect to our own voice in order to recognize and heal wounds that limit our ability to communicate effectively.

This workshop is led by Imaizara Manzanillas of Quito, Ecuador. She is a singer, composer, artist, and “artivist”. She created a musical genre known as “trova surreal” y coordinates the Almar Project. She founded the Cazatalentos Network and uses art to fight for the human and nature rights. Through singing, she has been able to connect to her ability and strength to heal and transform. She says that, through her soul, she is able to relate to the other, to the outer, the elements, and vibrations.
