As Joseph’s heritage is Italian some of the dishes come directly from his great-grandmother, Guidace’s, personal recipe collection.
Chef Joseph will be quick to tell you that his inspiration to become a Chef came from his grandfather Kramer who was a Chef at the world-famous Waldorf Astoria in New York and his mother and grandmother DePrimo who always cooked fantastic food at home. He is never afraid to venture outside the box and try new spice combinations and flavor profiles. He has worked as the Executive Chef in some of America’s most exclusive restaurants, country clubs and wineries. These experiences have allowed Joseph to hone his skills in a wide range of cuisines from around the globe. He strives to open the minds and broaden the palates of his guests with unique pairings, taking inspiration from a wide variety of international and local recipes. As co-owner of JT’s Bistro he continues his dedication to fresh and innovative fare to delight his customers. He uses local ingredients for every dish which allows him not only to provide exceptional culinary experiences, but also give back to the community that has embraced him and his unique, upscale and whimsical presentations of culinary art.
