Angel Panchez is an excellent tour guide and driver. We did two tours with him, to Cajas National Park and to the Giron waterfall and Laguna Busa.
Angel provided excellent recommendations along the way, such as a restaurant where we could try roasted cuy (traditional delicacy). He is also a very safe driver. He is friendly and kind. His rates are very affordable, only $12/hour all inclusive.
I would highly recommend seeking Angel out if you want to visit some sites around Cuenca.
