Over the last couple of weeks you’ve seen 2 requests for help for Alex, the disabled gentleman who sells a variety of objects on the corner of Ordoñez Lasso and Las Americas – across from the gas station – before you go up to Supermaxi Las Americas. Yesterday he was there to greet me again as I went by. He said he was overwhelmed by the response you have given to his plea for help after he was robbed on a holiday morning. He asked me to thank you all for your words of kindness, purchases, and any gifts you may have provided for him and his family.
