The Memorial Day Flowers Foundation

Please, if you would, read about the charitable campaign I am working with this year to honor our veterans buried at Arlington National Cemetery. I am very proud to be a part of this with supporting partners, Cuenca Expat Magazine and The Memorial Day Flowers Foundation.

I would like to present to you the Memorial Day Flowers Foundation. http://www.memorialdayflowers.org.

I am helping the nonprofit foundation with this annual event. On Memorial Day, as the foundation has for the last 11 years, placed Ecuadorian roses and bouquets on the graves of the veterans who have served our country. Last year the foundation placed 280,000 roses and bouquets on the 280,000 gravesites and 10,000 roses at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC.

On Memorial Day weekend year, 10,000 cars will pass through the gates of Arlington. We would like to be able to put an Ecuadorian Rose Bouquet in the hands of every car that drives through so they may place it on one of the 280,000 graves.

A donation of $10 per bouquet will cover the cost of the roses and transportation to Washington. Fortunately, the organization is given huge discounts on the roses which make them practically free and the foundation receives huge discounts on the transportation.

A large group of the foundation’s volunteers will be placing roses on many of the graves.

A donation of $10 per bouquet can be made on my website. Go to http://www.yourroseguy.com where you will now first see the landing page when you access the site.

Corporate donations begin at $1,500 dollars which pays for 1000 Ecuadorian Roses.

If you can share with your family, friends and coworkers about the foundation, and if you could consider a corporate donation, we would appreciate your support.

We are ready to accept donations today.

God bless our veterans,
