This art exhibition showcases the work of 8 women artists who created a body of work here in Historic Cuenca. The works all began with the transfer (frottage or rubbing) of architectural designs in El Centro. Each artist used a variety of techniques to finish the works. Don’t miss this opportunity to see this unique artwork.
The art project was done to explore a new idea, to have fun making art, and to support the Mujeres Con Exito foundation in Cuenca. Mujeres Con Exito is an arm of the Casa Maria del Amor, which has been recognized by the UN as a model for helping women and children victims of abuse.

Also, every Friday in April from 3 – 5 PM, artists who created this body of work will be at idiomART to give guided tours of the show, talk about the artwork, and answer questions.
