Our March Improv Storytelling Open Mic is just around the corner, so mark your calendar and save the date! Each month we have such an eclectic group of storytellers and we can’t wait to see who comes this month.
This event started as part of an improv storytelling workshop with professional storyteller, Karla Freeman. It was first organized as a place for the students to tell a story in front of an audience. It has since grown into an anticipated monthly tradition at idiomART.
It’s run just like a musical open mic. The folks who want to tell a story write their name on the list and they are called up in order. Many people would rather listen to the stories and that’s great. As we always say, storytelling doesn’t work without story listeners!
