Updates from Fundación GRACE: Empowering Refugee Women

We are excited to share with you the latest updates from Fundación GRACE.

This week, we started our flower design class for refugee women with the generous support of Phillip Combs and roses donated by Rosana Malo and Trebol Roses. This program aims to empower refugee women by providing them with new skills and opportunities to earn an income. We are thrilled to see the enthusiasm and creativity of the participants, and we are confident that this program will have a positive impact on their lives.

In addition, we received a significant donation from the Cuenca food bank, which allowed us to distribute 54 food kits to families in need, including those with disabled children or parents who cannot work. Thanks to an extra food donation from Andrés Zambrano, from La Guarida, we were able to provide additional support to these families. We believe that everyone should have access to basic necessities such as food, and we are committed to helping those in need in our community.

On International Women’s Day, our 100% women staff served refugee families and provided medical services. We are proud of our team’s dedication and commitment to serving those in need, and we are grateful to have such passionate and caring individuals working with us.

None of this would have been possible without your continued support. Your generosity has enabled us to make a real difference in the lives of refugees and families in need. However, we still have a long way to go to achieve our goals, and we kindly ask for your continued support.

If you would like to make a donation, please visit our website at https://giverefugeesachance.org/how-to-help/make-a-donation/. Your donation, no matter how small, will help us provide essential services to those who need it most.Thank you for being a part of our mission.

Please donate and help us.

Sincerely,
