I am coming to Ecuador April 1 – April 28… I found a few places on the “Best Of” list that I could possibly find some expats to connect with to “get the lowdown” of living in Cuenca, but I thought I might get a few more suggestions from this forum.
I bought a property in Cuenca, so my intention is to live here. I need to know the best place to buy furniture, get groceries, propane, Internet… all the things we need to set up a household. I would love to meet with people, share stories, make friends, get Spanish lessons, etc.
I do see the posts and recommendations, but if there is a ‘meet up’ group, or a cafe/restaurant that would be a good location to frequent, I want to hear about it!
