A real Cuenca art happening

Transferencia-Impressions of Cuenca

“Transferencia: Impressions of Cuenca” is a group art project based upon using architectural features of Historic Cuenca (ironwork, tiles, doors, and more) as the starting point of images. Individual artistic visions and ways of working have created a body of over 30 very unique works by seven expat women: Janda Grove, Mary Helfrich, Tricia Farrell, Kaye Sturgis, Lisa Jaffee, Francoise Cammaert, Jan Fischer, and Lois Andrews.

Through sharing talents and creative energy, this “Women Helping Women” project will donate its proceeds to the women’s shelter initiative, Mujeres Con Éxito, to draw attention to their mission and work in Cuenca.
