To All,
My wife and I were assaulted at the corner of Av. 3 de Noviembre and Los Manzaneros which is 2 blocks from Av de las Americas, next to the river walk. 2 black men in the 17-25 year-old age group tried to steal my wife’s phone as we walked.
This happened at 9 in the morning so to all, be vigilant…
We were able to fight off the one trying to steal it. I ended up with a scratched-up knee and my wife with a strained knee.
We have reported it to the tourism department downtown and will file a police report. Please be aware of your surroundings even with others around.
