It can be difficult to find high quality carpenters and contractors in Cuenca. I was fortunate to have been referred to Pablo Quizhpi of Austro Pro Services about ten years ago and he has been my go-to guy for home repairs and carpentry ever since.
His philosophy of do it right the first time has saved me from the frustration, time and expense of having to have work done and redone by those less qualified and poorly trained.
His expertise comes, in part, from employment with a construction firm in the Twin Cities but like any good tradesperson, he seems to have a natural aptitude for problem solving and a general desire to develop and hone his skills.
Austro-Pro recently completed several projects for me including repairing water damage behind a built-in wardrobe and then rebuilding the wardrobe, replacing degrading plumbing pipes, repairing leaking terrace tiles, inserting a stainless-steel panel in the back of a gas fireplace, waterproofing the exterior bricks of my home and custom building two sleek and stylish tables with welded metal legs.
All of the projects were completed efficiently and effectively by Pablo and his well-trained, trustworthy crew.
