I am a local professor searching for interaction opportunities for students who regularly take our English courses at UPS (Universidad Politécnica Salesiana).
At UPS, we are organizing the First ‘Culture Fest UPS’ which aims to show relevant information about different world cultures, especially where English is the first language. There will be music, presentations, games, plays, and an outstanding Ecuadorian folkloric dance carried out by our Professional Folkloric Dance Group from UPS at the beginning of the event (11 AM)
Another key objective of this event is to make people understand that when you study another language, you should also learn about the cultural aspects of different places. DYT? There is no one better than foreigners to allow such interaction.
The event will be held on Wednesday, February 8 in two different moments at our university Gymnasium. The first one includes the inauguration and folkloric dance; it will go from 11 AM to 1 PM while the second moment will go from 4 to 5:30 PM.
Come and join this local community you are part of. In Cuenca, we like gringos and we hope you drop by that day.
