Each year, Ecuador Ama lo Nuesto recognizes individuals and organizations who make significant contributions within Ecuador. This is a national/International award and selected by a committee of various groups including UNESCO, The Ecuadorian American Chamber of Commerce, Ecuador Government and others. Alongside those who make significant business contributions, a few charities receive this award and are recognized for their contribution to helping the most vulnerable of society.
We are proud to receive this for the second year in a row for our work with HIV and our assistance with those who face critical illness and poverty. Hogar de Esperanza was pleased to be joined on stage with an organization we cooperate with often, GRACE, who was recognized for their work with migrants.
You should also be proud of what we have achieved. It is through the support of expats that we are able to make changes in the lives of so many.
