We left for 3 weeks, and Leo’s family stayed in our apartment primarily to pet sit our cat.
They are all extremely professional, flexible and reasonable in price. Our return was postponed due to the Soccer tournament, and they could stay an extra 2 nights for us.
Every day I got a video message of Sassy and she was very happy!

Sunday, December 4. From 10 AM to 5 PM: II Festival of the Hat in Pile
The town council of the community of Pile together with the associations of weavers organize the II Festival of the Hat in Pile, on Sunday, December 4 from 10 AM in the entrance of the community.
The festival will feature a fair of handicrafts made of toquilla straw and a gastronomic fair. Several Foundations and Organizations have joined the event with artistic presentations and village bands.
The festival will also include the participation of artisans of La Pila, to present their clay crafts, which is part of the national inventory of Ecuador’s intangible cultural heritage; and the community of Ligüiqui, who will show their work in Tagua. Let’s be part of a fair-trade festival to support the artisans in Ecuador! Buy direct from them!
