Need to renew visa

We need to renew our visa in Azogues and were not able to make an appointment. Is it possible to go to the office there without an appointment and still be seen?

Thanks,

Was I “taken to the cleaners?”

Recently I took an expensive sweater to the cleaners. About a week after I picked it up, I wanted to wear it but it was much too small, now shrunken, and the finish changed. I returned to the cleaners to show them and was only then told that when there is a problem after cleaning, the item must be returned within 24 hours. How often would most customers take items home and try them on within 24 hours? That was the first I knew of such requirement. That clerk was not so cordial as the regular one and I left with a large loss. Hoping to save others such…

Go on a day trip with Hogar de Esperanza

Join us for a relaxing and fun day out of the city to the warmer Valley of Yunguilla. We meet at the Foundation at 8 AM where we will have bagels and coffee provided by Matthew’s Bagels.

Our first stop will be the community of La Asuncion and then the San Alfonzo Lookout. We will climb to the top where you will have some incredible views and take fabulous photos.

We will then head to our house in Moisen where we will relax for a few hours with an amazing BBQ lunch, enjoy the warmth and the views. Garry will also be sharing some of his personal story and the upcoming book. We will return at 4 PM.

As there is some climbing on this trip, it is not suitable for anyone with breathing issues or joint problems. If you feel you cannot make the climb, you can still enjoy the views from the base of the lookout. Bottles of water will be provided. Christmas is coming – La Mia Mascota Pet and Vet Shop

At Christmas time, we love to remember the members of our family with various kinds of gifts. Typically, our dogs and cats (hamsters, rabbits, but maybe not fish) receive little gifts for the occasion. This year, support your local industry and purchase pet products made right here in Cuenca by Productos Betoven.

One of our clients recently noticed the high quality of the Productos Betoven bedding that we stock. She studied the label, the beds, noted the zipper, and finally asked, “are these products made in Ecuador?” Yes, they are made in Cuenca. Customers have commented about the high quality of the materials and noted that if the spongy filling goes flat after extended use, it can be replaced. What more could you want? Available in your pet’s favorite colors (mine likes green), these are more affordable than imports from China or the US and are very durable. Productos Betoven also makes a variety of pet care products and litter.

Alpha Lipoic + Vitamin C + Glutathione IV Therapy

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound which works to alleviate pain, protect the brain, decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease, help with weight loss, improve Diabetes, fight cancer, and assist in the treatment of several other health conditions.

Therapeutic benefits of ALA:

• Helps with weight loss
• Powerful Antioxidant
• Decreases inflammation

Office satire about three female secretaries who decide to get revenge on their tyrannical, sexist boss by abducting him and running the business themselves. The trio Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton, one of whom has been passed over for promotion because she is a woman, spend a night together having drug-induced fantasies of killing the slave-driving chauvinist. Recommendation for Rami Riden hair salon

Over the years we have tried various hair salons in Cuenca. I know new expats arriving will probably do the same. It takes a while to find just the right stylist. We just had our hair trimmed at Rami Riden for the third time and he is consistently good. He was the stylist for Miss Venezuela prior to moving to Ecuador and you can view many photos on his FB Page. His WhatsApp # is 099 900 0427. His salon is located on Alfonso Borrero about 1/2 block down from Remigio Crespo.

Recommendation for Daniel Osorio, DMT Agency: E-commerce specialists

I hired Daniel mid project due to issues with my first tech advisor. He picked up on things immediately, correcting problems and designing a path forward.
His expertise on all things technical are excellent, but his insight into workings of different platforms is even more outstanding. He understands design, interfacing, search criteria, e-commerce marketing, and key word advertising.
I am keeping Daniel on project for advice and troubleshooting because I respect his knowledge base and his ability to utilize it at very affordable prices.
And he’s an engaging and pleasant in all business dealings…
