Wallet left in taxi

I was just in a taxi (11/28) with a driver who found a pink wallet and asked me to help find its owner. The passport and driver’s license said it belongs to Norma Ray Moser. There was no phone number for her. He speaks no English and asked me to see if she’s on Facebook. He picked her up at Monte Sinai and will bring it back to the taxi stand there tomorrow. He said he would keep looking for her at Monte Sinai.

If you know this person, please let her know.

Can you help us on Giving Tuesday?

We also have 50 families living outside the center that we help with food, gas and bus passes when they are unable to work. We hope this year, you will find it in your heart to help out.

Looking for the woman who makes these…

There was a woman here who made out of then 10 beautiful hummingbirds really colorful and they would hang on a string about five of them.

Do any of you know where I could find her or if she’s still around?

I thank you for all your answers and comments in advance.

Colorfully yours,

Help, please with dog boarding?

Who would you recommend? We haven’t traveled for a while because our favorite trusted dog groomer/boarder person moved back to the States. They, for seven years took care of our much-loved indoor family dog while we traveled. So now we need a vacation out of Ecuador for a couple of weeks and need someone highly trustworthy who can provide a safe and secure fenced yard during the day, safely inside the house at night. It would be fun for our 15 pound “kid” to play with other socialized doggies as well. References and recommendations. Please post in Comments Section for others as well. Many thanks for your help.

Do you have in mind to make some investments in Ecuador?

Because many on GringoPost are looking for the best place to make their investments and take advantage of the benefits of making CDs in this country, I’d like to introduce Crea Credit Union to you.

Established in Cuenca in 1964, Crea has experience servicing the community. We have more than 33 branches around the country and now we have a strong initiative serving international community. Starting from a decidedly strong base, Crea has only grown stronger. It is the cooperative that offers CDs with not only high rates of return but unparalleled safety and security of principal. That’s a combination that is hard to beat.

These are some of the benefits and reasonable reasons why people want to work with us:

Powerful benefits of High-dose Vitamin C IV therapy

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a powerful antioxidant that plays a crucial role in overall health.

High-dose Vitamin C is crucial to a healthy body and contributes to your immune defense by supporting and directly stimulating various cellular functions of both the innate and adaptive immune systems.

Vitamin C is an essential antioxidant and is responsible for many functions in the body. While not all of our oral supplements are fully absorbed, IV delivery of Vitamin C ensures that 100% of the vitamin is bioavailable. In addition, when given high doses, Vitamin C converts from an antioxidant to an oxidative therapy.

Failing to get enough vitamin C can result in deficiencies that may result in poor wound healing, easy bruising, bleeding of the gums, and anemia. In addition, since vitamin C aids in iron absorption, a severe deficiency may cause scurvy, a disease categorized by extreme weakness, bruising, bleeding, and lethargy.

Recommendation for Olger Avila, tour guide/driver/handyman

I have recently used the services of Olger Avila and highly recommend him! He does national trips for parties of up to four people, as well as in city shopping and errands. He’s also an excellent handyman with skills in plumbing, electrical, floor washing, walls, ceilings, picture hanging, gardening and is an excellent carpenter. He is very nice, extremely helpful, speaks English well and is very reasonably priced.

Recommendation for Gabby Naula, manicurist and pedicurist

Hi, her name is Gabby, she is an experienced manicurist/pedicurist and she comes to your house and performs these services at your home.

His vaccinations are up to date and he takes all hygiene precautions ie a mask, alcohol etc. Their services are reasonable: $7 for a manicure and $15 for a pedicure and include a full hand or foot massage.

Recommendation for Laura Guaman, cleaning and housekeeping

I really like having Laura as a housekeeper. She is very hard-working, kind, reliable, punctual and, above all, responsible for her work. She always has a smile on her face. He has worked for several of my friends and has been helping expats for over 9 years. Do you prefer working as a housekeeper, helping in the garden with plants and general maintenance, taking care of children or the elderly, going to the market, taking care of pets, taking care of your house when you travel or helping you with errands, or with your main job? which is cleaning floors, houses, etc.

Emilio runs a professional, friendly, first-class operation; the entire process from beginning-to-end could not have been any simpler. He offered pick-up and drop-off service, so I never even had to leave my home to pick-up and return the car. The car was immaculate and drove great; he took a few moments to explain the features of the SUV. I highly recommend Cuenca Car Share for your rental car needs; whenever I need a car in the future, Emilio will always be my first choice.

Japanese Style Mending Workshop – Boro/Sashiko

Join artist, Nancy Galloway for this 1-day, hands-on workshop where you will learn the Japanese style of mending called “boro” or “sashiko”. The technique combines layers of fabric and running stitch, combining bits of old cloth to patch and mend textiles. These fabrics were made by repurposing carefully saved garment pieces and other handspun and indigo-dyed fabrics to extend their use.
