After another busy Thanksgiving season, Bernie and I want to thank all of you that purchased our Pumpkin Pies! I was kept busy but we managed to schedule our time in the kitchen and helped each other as much as we could. Everything was under control until an order for 12 pies came in. That had me baking until 11 PM Thanksgiving Eve. We didn’t mind though; the pies were delivered on time and we were all happy.

The geodesics glamping structures are ideal for low cost big area patio living. These are custom designs, locally built at import prices.
Our glamping domes are built from 8 to 60 feet in diameter. A 23′ diameter dome (450 sq ft of living space) can be transported in a pickup truck. As a mobile structure, no permit is required. If you are in a rental, they can move with you. 23 foot diameter steel frame (430 square feet) starts at $1,400 Prices for a completed 23′ domes start at $3,490.
Our glamping spheres have a smaller ecological foot print then any structure we know. These are very light on the land. They don’t require heavy and destructive land clearing and leveling because they can be above the ground on legs with 5 very small pads (feet). Our structures can go places hardly any other structure can. From steep forested hill sides to humid land. These structures are so strong you can suspend them like a Christmas tree ornament ball. Prices for a completed sphere start at $3,490.

Last week we had the incredible art opening for photographer Jane Hiltbrand and fabric artist Nancy Galloway. We know that not everybody who wants to see their outstanding art exhibitions were able to come, but there’s no need to worry!
Their exhibition is up until Dec. 10, 2022 so please come visit us at idiomART during our regular hours to see this one-of-a-kind art show!
Can’t make it during our regular hours, send us an email to schedule a private showing at: idiomartcuenca@gmail.com
We have officially entered the holiday season and why not treat yourself? Since you’re here in Ecuador, you may as well give Spanish a go while you’re at it!
We know that learning another can be difficult and even daunting at times. CCC Spanish is different. We take the class out of the classroom and believe in the three C’s of learning a language: Conversation ~ Culture ~ Context.

My husband has six herniated discs and spinal stenosis. He needs to have surgery but we are so afraid of the medieval looking surgeries that have been suggested to us. If you have had a really good experience with back surgery we would love to hear from you.

Hey you! My name is Michelle Smith 900+ E-RYT, I’m visiting Cuenca this month offering a bilingual workshop inspired by yoga therapeutics and physical therapy principles in a Vinyasa setting.
It’s called Yoga For Longevity. Divided in two parts: Lower Body (Saturday) and Upper Body (Sunday). At local yoga studio: makemake.
If so inspired, please feel free to ask questions and join in! This will be a teaching practice with a restorative close. One session is $30, both are $50.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars and save the date for our next Improv Storytelling Open Mic!
Here you can listen to others tell stories and you can even tell one yourself if you feel so inclined!
Much like a musical open mic, you just write your name on the list and we call you up in order. It’s as simple as that.
You can tell any story you want. It can be true, it can be fiction, it can be about yourself or someone else. There are no rules about content, we just ask that you don’t tell a story that is offensive, lewd, racist or that spreads hate. We also ask that you keep your story to 10 minutes so others have time to tell theirs as well.
We know there’s been a lot of excitement in town for the past month but, let’s face it, Sundays are still super mellow and sometimes they can even feel boring if you’re looking for something to do in town.
Well, look no further!
This Sunday, Nov. 27 at idiomART we have an incredible local band of professional musicians who play an awesome and lively selection of Latin American and Tropical music! They’re called the Canela Club band and you may have had the good fortune to see them at places like La Guarida, Bistro Yaku or even at our former idiomART location!
Join us on Sundays at 10 AM. This Sunday we take a look at Unity and at how love for one another unifies us.
We are a diverse church with people from many different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. We come together to explore the true meaning of God’s word and how to apply it to our lives; build strong relationships; serve each other and serve our community.
We desire to be a true expression of the love of Jesus. Worship is in English and Spanish. Our message is in English with simultaneous translation in Spanish via state-of-the-art translation equipment.
