Latest citizenship test?

Has anyone taken the citizenship test lately? My test is this week (Thanksgiving Day) and I’m panicking. Any info would be helpful. To be clear, I understand that the test has been re-made, therefore the old bank of questions circulating from a few years ago would not be helpful – hence my concern.

Any info would be so appreciated.

“Gastropod” podcast on coconuts

The folks at “Gastropod” do really good work, like their especially good 2-part series on coffee from back in March. This time around the topic is coconuts and it’s really fun as well as informative.

“All around the world, people who live alongside the coconut palm refer to it as the ‘tree of life,’ thanks to its ability to provide food, oil, fresh water, and the sturdy raw materials to build homes, clothes, and even musical instruments-all from one plant. This episode, Gastropod cracks open what makes coconuts so great, including their role as everything from a Presidential lifesaver to the missing ingredient in nuclear fusion.”

Learn Spanish by watching movies, reading books and listening to music

If you’re looking to improve your Spanish (especially listening comprehension , grammar and vocabulary) then you may want to download this free guide.

My team of native speakers and I at http://www.spanishtofluency.com have put together a list of Spanish movies, TV shows, books and music (sorted by level, genre, etc.) to help you find an authentic Spanish resource that is suitable for you.

I’ve also included a short video that suggests how you can use these resources at any level.

I know it can be daunting to try watching a movie or reading a book in Spanish at a beginner level.

But it can be done.

You can still learn a lot from it and actually enjoy it.

I loved using TV, movies, books and music to improve my Spanish as it taught me the real, everyday Spanish used in different parts of the world.

Recommendation for Andres Delgado, dentist

Based on the recommendation seen here on GringoPost, I visited Andres Delgado for some restorations that my dentist in North America was going to charge me $1,100 to do.

I was able to see him the next day. He was very personable, explained everything he was going to do and did 3, not 2 restorations plus a cleaning for $95. Of course, price is not the only consideration. He is very competent and kind. As the previous poster mentioned, there was no pain.

Highly recommended.

Recommendation for Paraíso Silvestre, dog lodging and daycare near Quito

Hi all! If anyone is looking for a great place to board their dog and/or doggie daycare in Tumbaco, near Quito, I highly recommend Paraíso Silvestre. It has ample space for dogs to run, play, and relax. I’ve boarded my dog, Jack, there and also visit on a regular basis for doggie daycare. The owner, Daniela, has more than a decade of experience and provides personalized care for each pup. I can see the results of her wonderful work of socialization with Jack, who’s generally been a shy boy with both other humans and dogs, but actually gets excited to go to Paraíso Silvestre! Daniela really makes dogs feel like they’re in a second home and she also offers post-surgery care. And her pricing is good too!

To find out more, message Daniela on WhatsApp at the number provided below. Or, if you don’t speak Spanish, you can message me here or by email and I’ll gladly help.
