Andean Music at idiomART

We’re pleased to announce the Andean music concert, “Rumbo a Cusco” for our next Patio Sessions at idiomART

If you missed this group at La Guarida or you loved them so much, you want to see them again…now’s your chance.

This concert will feature the charango, which is an Andean stringed instrument that has a unique sound emblematic of Andean music. Ali Medina is one of Ecuador’s finest and has been selected to represent the country in the International Charango Festival in Cusco, Peru! Rumbo a Cusco showcases this fine instrument and the flavors of Andean music as well as help raise funds for Ali’s travels south. He will be joined on the stage by Jorge Aguirre (charango and other instruments), Gaby Carrión (guitar) and Carlos Orozco (percussion). This is a unique cultural experience and one that can’t be missed!
