Seeking some help

I know this is a difficult post for me to write but I will do my best. My husband was diagnosed recently with an aggressive cancer tumor in his brain. We have lived in Ecuador for eight years and love it here. I imagine some of you have been through the medical system here and know that pain management is limited here. I am trying to get my husband to Mayo Clinic in Florida for his treatment. He is currently in severe pain and the medications have been underwhelming. I am trying to see if any of you have received strong medication or have recommendations for meds that would help him through this short interim time until he can get to the States.
