If you are a writer and have a short story or novel or plot or just have an awesome anecdote, you think is suitable to be adapted to a low budget short film or feature film we would love to read it. The stories we are looking for should have the following characteristics:
1.- At least 80% of the plot should take place in Ecuador
2.- The fewer locations, the better.
3.- The less special FX the better.
4.- Time: at least 80% of the plot should happen in the present time
5.- Originality: the story should be unique, and you have to be the author. We will check for plagiarism.
6.- Protagonists: should be humans and adults (no kids, no animals) any nationality or ethnicity is ok.
7.- No guns (no police, no military)
8.- Genre: drama and comedy are good, (no horror, no action). Romantic comedies have a plus.
9.- This is not a contest. There is no prize, no winners. Credits will be given for the chosen story. If you want to earn something for this, let us know how much and we will see if that’s possible after looking for funds.
