People love a good sale in Cuenca

I should know. As the owner of Red Tag Moving Sales for the past 7 years, every sale I have had for my customers has resulted in large turnouts because the locals here love finding bargains and finding things they may not be able to purchase here.

Are you leaving Cuenca or just moving across town and want to downsize but don’t want the headache of organizing, sorting, pricing, taking pictures, writing the ads, marketing your items and then dealing with the public to schedule appointments with people that may or may not show, answer all the emails and telephone calls, etc.?

The pensioner visa and its changes: the regulations in the Organic Law

By Marcos Chiluisa

In a world of constant change, it is important to stay up to date on relevant information that affects our day to day. Even more so, it is important to be familiar with the changes that occur within the country in which we are living, or that we are planning to adopt as a home.

In recent years we have seen several changes and reforms to migration and human mobility within Ecuador, changes that have been surprising for many. This can be discouraging for some who do not have access to sources with timely, true, solid, and reliable information.

Recommendation for Maggy Ruiz, Chanel Hair Studio

As we all know, the last couple of years of Covid, as well as the recent paro, has been very hard on local businesses here in Cuenca. This morning I went for a haircut and listened to one person, a friend, who’s been dealing with those challenges. Her name is Maggy Ruiz and for over 7 years she’s cut my hair. Maggy is very sweet and very good at what she does, I highly recommend her services. She’s been doing this for many years here and, for the short time in the US so her English is pretty good. Her studio is easy to get to … on Lorenzo Piedra only one block off Remigio Crespo. So, if you’re new here or just want to try someone different, please contact her. She needs the work. Thanks,

Maggy Ruiz
