A friend and I went to the weaving demo offered by Magy Peña at her home studio last Friday afternoon. Magy is a skilled and inspiring artist working in a variety of mediums. She showed us an assortment projects she has worked on in recent years, including some fascinating weaving using traditional and alternative materials.
Magy is also a delightful host, serving us homemade taxo ice cream made from the vine in her yard.
