Delicious fanesca Ecuadorian Easter soup

My friend, Dunia, has been making this traditional soup for 30 years. It really is the most delicious I have eaten anywhere in Ecuador. She is an excellent cook.

She makes it with eight different kinds of beans, sardines instead of bacalao fish, potatoes, two varieties of pumpkin, plantains and hard-boiled eggs.

24 ounce container costs $5.50, which includes delivery.
Order extra, they freeze well.
