I want to recommend Monica Gonzaga as a facilitator for getting your visa. I went to her when it was time to get my permanent Visa and she did terrific job. She couldn’t take the application to Azogues because of how they were incorrectly applying the new law about having to be in the country for 21 consecutive months to be eligible. They are applying it retroactively.
The office in Quito is applying it correctly, so the application had to go there. Though it took somewhat longer, she got the application approved and I got my permanent Visa. A few days after I received that, she took me to the Civil Registry to get my new cedula. I am a very happy camper.
