Cuenca is home to a large number of organizations and individuals dedicated to helping the less fortunate. The diversity of these programs is a source of strength. Cuencanos, expats, immigrants, and refugees are all critical components of these programs. They provide a breadth and depth of services including: food, clean water, medical assistance, education, psychological support, care for children and the elderly, and much, much more.
