One-year old Lab-retriever mix needs a loving home

Wally is a sweet, friendly, one-year old male, who looks like a yellow-Lab and golden retriever mix, abandoned by his former owner. He’s a gentle dog, weighing around 50 lbs (23 kgs) right now. He’ll probably fill out to a bit more when he fully matures (60+ lbs maybe). He was found in pretty rough shape by someone who was able to provide immediate/urgent care, but who is unable to provide a stable home. Wally is smart, friendly and engaging, enjoys human contact, and is playful with children and other dogs. He is house-trained and exhibits no aggressive behavior, he seems very trainable, and answers to his name. Although his current caretaker (who recently rescued him from the streets) is unable to provide a stable home for him, she intends to get him neutered within the next week or so.

Whereas some dogs seem perfectly happy living on the streets, Wally is desperately looking for a caring human to call his own. He will surely be an outstanding, unwaveringly loyal, loving, and affectionate companion for some good-hearted person. If you think you might be able to provide this truly lovely doggie a stable, caring, permanent home, please feel free to call or message me anytime. (He’s only been called Wally for a short while, so as his new human, you cold rename him; he surely wouldn’t mind).

Speaking as someone who’s taken in several stray dogs over the years, I can assure you that even when I’ve doubted that I wanted or could handle the commitment of another furry companion, I’ve always been thankful that I did. The right person will be well-rewarded for their decision to give this lovely and grateful companion a place in their home and heart.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
