In Ecuador, 25.5% of children in urban areas live in poverty, and in rural areas approximately 47.6%. With the All Children Deserve to Dream program, you support these children and encourage them to follow their dreams and set short and long-term goals, learning to value effort and motivating them to continue with their education. We end 2021 fulfilling dreams like being princesses, climbing mountains, having a computer to receive virtual classes, visiting McDonalds for the first time, having a bicycle, having a backpack, and many other dreams that we may never have been able to believe that there are people who do not have the opportunity to do these things normally, but in this way we can demonstrate the injustice that these children have lived throughout their short lives, and seeing their reactions drives us to fulfill more dreams.
