Hogar De Esperanza’s Craft Workshop, 2022 objectives

Thank you for your initial response to our new fundraising project, “TugZ 4 DogZ”. It has inspired us to expand to cat toys. Visit our newly revamped Instagram page to keep updated on our product line, no account necessary, https://www.instagram.com/thrift_shop.2022/ Please like and follow if you do have an account.

The craft workshop has become not only a place for clients to gather socially, but unfortunately for too many it is also a safe place to spend a few hours outside the home.

Want to help us? We’re piloting a “Virtual Volunteer” program using a WhatsApp group chat. https://chat.whatsapp.com/CkmDA1tu8X51Hq7brufFIF We want to leverage technology to solicit feedback regarding products you would like us to make that you would be interested in buying. Just drop a link into the chat to a craft idea you’ve seen on Pinterest or YouTube. Home decor items, jewelry? What do you like and wish it were available here?

The chat has a link to a document listing the supplies we need for our current products, their cost and where to buy them near the Expat Services Center for easy drop off. Let us know in the chat if you’re interested in attending one of the workshop sessions to assist in the assembly line. It’s a great way to improve your Spanish! No long-term obligation is expected. We want to make assisting us beyond a cash donation easy to do online.
